This post is fulltime and fixed term for 2 years.
Purpose of post: The two main aims of the post are:
- to undertake research in human geography and/or cognate disciplines which is of relevance to the broad aims of the Scottish Institute for Policing Research;
- to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching within human geography, with a specific focus on urban issues;
Principle Duties: The key tasks will be:
- to undertake research of international quality in the fields of human geography and or cognate disciplines and which addresses issues of relevance to the research agenda of the Scottish Institute for Policing Research;
- to submit grant applications and to publish findings of research;
- to undertake teaching in the broad field of urban geography.
