A meeting on Arab Spring and Uprising in Middle East and North Africa

Uniting for Peace invite you to a meeting at House of Lords, London on Wednesday, November 09 at 6pm. Geoffrey Robertson Q.C. (Human rights lawyer and author), John Baron M.P. (Member of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee), Christopher Black (Lead Defence Counsel ICTR), Jeremy Gilley (Founder, Peace One Day), Tim Wallis (Director, Nonviolent Peace force) and Vijay Mehta (Chair, Uniting for Peace) will be speaking at the event about the morality of intervention, responsibility to protect and the role of United Nations.

The meeting will be chaired by Lord Frank Judd (Former Minister for International Development).

The audience will have an opportunity to put forward their own ideas and suggestions round the issues, peace, development and human rights. There will be room for about 60-70 people, so please book early to be assured of your place.
