Dear all

I know we have had some discussions around this in July/Aug but I have checked the archives and they do not fully answer my queries. Here at Derby the re-sit exams coincided with the last two weeks of Ramadan and some were even scheduled at Eid.

I have been asked by our Directorate to write a paper around this. Can I please check with you the following:

 * Did your University schedule re-sits for Ramadan and Eid?
 * Were your students given the opportunity to re-arrange if they clashed with religious observances/celebrations?
 * If your International students had returned home were they given the opportunity to sit these in their home country?
 * Were any allowances given to students that were fasting?
 * Are there any other issues that came up during this time?

Please respond to my email below and I will collate any responses for anyone else who is interested.

Thanks

Lesley
