Sorry, missed one there - 4. Let’s not forget why Black History Month is celebrated The last day of October marks the ‘end’ of Black History Month. Now is a good time to reflect on why Black History Month is celebrated and whether it’s achieving its goals. It would also be opportune to remind ourselves that one month’s celebration cannot make up for forgetting Black history the rest of the year.
