Communities (EFTC) Conference

This is a unique opportunity to participate in this
international conference within the fantastic setting of one of Oxfords most
majestic colleges.
The conference will focus on the central theme of Recovery and
will feature contributions from key figures in the field of treatment and
rehabilitation from around the world.
21st September 2011: THEME – Recovery and the Evidence base.
Main speakers include:
Keith Humphreys (
22nd September: THEME – Retention and Aftercare.
Speakers from across
the world will share their expertise in how to improve outcomes from recovery
services in a range of prison and community settings, including Brigitte Jansen
discussing retention in a Dutch housing programme for addicted repeat offenders
and Carsten Hald sharing experience on how to improve retention for young
adults.
23rd September:
Conclusions and Close.
Round table discussion
with experts from across the world George De Leon, Professor John Strang,
Professor Eric Broekaer (Belguim), Naya Arbiter (USA) and Rod Mullen (USA).
