Policy and Information Officer

1 year fixed term contract (Maternity cover)

Part time - 21 hours per week

£24,000 - £27,000 pro rata

Central London location

 

Breakthrough Breast Cancer is a pioneering charity dedicated to the prevention, treatment and ultimate eradication of breast cancer. We fight on three fronts: research, campaigning and education.

 

Working within the Policy and Public Health team, you will play a key role in driving forward public health and information projects. You will take the lead in coordinating the external review of Breakthrough’s health information materials and work alongside the Senior Information Officer to develop health information for the charity’s website.

 

You will also need experience of communicating complex health information to the general public as you play a key role in responding to enquiries from the general public and supporters on breast cancer issues. Educated to degree level in relevant discipline or other equivalent experience, your excellent project management and written skills will be vital.
