Knowledge Exchange Assistant, Rowett Institute, University of Aberdeen.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident communicator to join the small team delivering a programme of knowledge exchange (KE) activities for the Scottish-Government funded research undertaken by the Rowett Institute of Nutrition and Health, University of Aberdeen. The post reports to the Knowledge Exchange Manager and is based at the Rowett Institute, but is also part of the University Communications Team.

You will support the Knowledge Exchange Manager in developing and delivering a varied programme of engagement activities to reach a number of different audiences. In particular you will lead on the development and organisation of activities for the community/public and schools audiences and in the development of social media for the KE strategy.

You should have a degree in nutrition or life sciences and/or communication and experience of science communication and /or nutrition or life sciences research would be an advantage. You should have excellent written and communications skills, enjoy working as part of a small team and be able to work well under pressure.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 4 scale (£20,409 - £23,661 per annum) with placement according to qualifications and experience.
