Dear Design Researcher, The Design Research Society (DRS) is piloting a new funding scheme for research students: The Student Research Bursary. The aim of the scheme is for the DRS to directly support design research projects by research students across the world. 1500 GBP is available for projects in each calendar year. The scheme is open to all student members of the society, together with a sponsor who is also a DRS member. Please see the DRS website for further details: http://www.designresearchsociety.org/ The first deadline for applications is 30th September 2011. If you are not a DRS member, and would like to apply for a bursary, the cost of joining as a student member is 30GBP for three years membership. Full membership is 30GBP per year.
