GIS Data Capture Specialist

Salary: £27,000 per annum

This ranges from high profile areas such as Regents Street and Windsor to remote farmland in Northern Scotland. We are looking for a GIS (Geographical Information Systems) data capture specialist to join our dedicated team based at our Head Office in the West End of London. Working as part of the data capture project you will be responsible for digitising urban and rural Crown Estate assets. You will be involved in the spatial capture of information from diverse sources such as paper maps, scanned title records and historic property deeds. You will have good working knowledge of ESRI’s ArcGIS software suite as well as practical experience of manually editing ESRI shapefiles. A basic knowledge of property GIS and land registration is desirable.
Ideally, you will have a master’s degree qualification in GIS and previous work experience in the industry. Good communication skills are essential as well as being approachable and a team player.
