Dear Manuel, There are some very good examples of slip and associated quartz veining along large scale epsilon cross bedding in Upper Devonian coarse grained sandstones from the Variscides of SW Ireland. There are some particularly fine examples in the Hungry Hill area of the Beara Peninsula. Regards, Pat. Patrick A. Does anyone knows about possible examples in the field or literature? Any opinion on this idea is welcome.
