Dear all,

I’m wondering if sedimentary cross-bedding could be tectonically reactivated, or by a vein formation parallel to the cross-bedding, or even by a sort of ‘bed-on-bed’ movement on the individual layers of the cross-bedding.

Does anyone knows about possible examples in the field or literature?

Any opinion on this idea is welcome.

Cheers,

Manuel
