Dear All,

Has anyone had any experience with provision of nocturnal convulsive seizure monitors for students and whether it would be considered a reasonable adjustment for a student in have one in halls?  I was under the impression that this sort of thing would be provided by the DSA but she has been advised by the assessor that the college should provide it and it will be illegal if they don’t?

The alarm is not anything to do with the fire alarm, but goes under the student’s pillow and goes off should the student have a fit.

Any responses would be appreciated!

Many Thanks,

Ros
