Join our speakers to discuss:

The social and political contexts behind the riots; why did it happen in some areas and not others?
The nature of the Black political community in Britain and creating spaces of solidarity;
The role and character of gangs in the Black community;
The key issues around Black masculinity, families and interpersonal gender relations;
How contemporary educational policies are impacting on Black youth;
The contributions intellectuals/activists can make to improving the conditions of life for Black Britons.
