Hello colleagues,
I am the new Rambert Dance Company
archivist; it was great to meet some of you at the Globe theatre yesterday.
Rambert is moving to a new home on the
South Bank in 2013 with purpose-built accommodation for the archives. Ahead of
the move we are looking at our service to see what can be improved or revised.
We have never had a set pricing structure for things like photocopying, providing
scanned copies etc. I wonder if any of you would be able to share your pricing
structures with us? I can provide an anonymised summary for the list if others
would find that useful.
Here is roughly what we have charged in
the past. It would be great to know how others charge for our benchmarking
process.
Providing a printed image, but from a high
quality scan - £5 per image
Providing a high quality digital image - £40 - £50
Providing a DVD of footage - £10 – £25
Photocopying – 10p a sheet
Allowing footage to be used - £? per minute
Research visits – we are currently closed but in the past year or two we
haven’t charged researchers.
Thank you in advance for your advice,
All best,
Arike
