An exciting temporary position now exists for an experienced, enthusiastic Applied Statistician to join our dedicated Biopharm Clinical Pharmacology and Biometrics group, which provides statistics and modelling support of biopharmaceutical assets within GSK. Secondments from other groups will be considered. The primary responsibility of this maternity leave cover role will be to provide statistical input and guidance to Biopharm Process Research department in the early development of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes. In this role you will: - Consult extensively with Biopharm R&D scientists. - Promote and provide innovative and efficient experimental designs to assist decision making in drug development. - Prepare statistical input for non-clinical protocols, prepare reports/presentations, and communicate statistical results and implications to Biopharm R&D scientists. - Supervise an industrial placement student There is also the opportunity to gain exposure to clinical studies through collaboration with other members of this group.
