Hi all, I know it's not the best time of year to catch students, but am forwarding details of a student competition from colleagues in Australia, as part of the Asia Pacific Conference on Educational Integrity (URL at bottom of email). Sounds like a great idea! Please contact Ruth directly if you would like further details. Best wishes, Gill Gillian Rowell Academic Advisor plagiarismadvice.org Dear colleagues, It would be great if you could take the time to forward the following email notice to your students or fellow teachers about a current video competition on the theme of 'Plagiarism and Zombies', sponsored by the Asia Pacific Forum on Educational Integrity. The competition hopes to engage students to think creatively about issues relating to plagiarism, which is often presented as an extremely negative issue with punitive and frightening implications for their academic success. We hope that students will be interested in contributing short horror videos on the issue of plagiarism, and perhaps more broadly about academic integrity - and shudder to think what they come up with! If you would like some A3 copies of the attached competition poster, I'd be happy to mail them to you! best wishes Ruth __________________ What: A student video competition on the theme 'Plagiarism and Zombies' The challenge: Can *you* come up with a scary, creative, or humorous video idea relating to plagiarism?
