Happy to pass on news of a very major piece of action being planned -
the 2012 Summer Reading Challenge is going to be part of the Cultural
Olympiad festival, which is a fantastic vote of confidence for
libraries.

Best wishes, Miranda

Hi all,

Personal curiosity. Is anyone aware of anything going on/being planned
for the Cultural Olympiad? I may be out of the loop on this but I'm not
hearing any noises.

This question is triggered by the news that we have passed the 1 year to
start of the games point and I understood that there were going to be
nationwide events leading up to it.

Regards, Alison
