A new edition of Who Next...? A guide to children’s authors is now available and for the first time includes a section covering authors who write for teenagers. This popular guide is designed as a tool to help librarians, teachers and parents to guide children who have already enjoyed stories by one writer to find other authors they will enjoy reading. Who Next...? lists over 750 writers of children’s fiction and with each name suggests other authors who write in a similar way, to help signpost young readers to new material when they have exhausted the works of their favourite writers. As well as the new 14+ section, for the first time we have also identified authors who write short stories and those whose titles are available as ebooks. The guide also gives information on graphic novels, talking books and titles suitable for dyslexic or reluctant readers.
