National Science & Engineering Week Info Sessions
Starting in under two weeks, now is the time to reserve your seat at one of just 14 info sessions
National Science & Engineering Week takes place next year from 9–18 March with the theme “our world in motion.”
Join new and existing event and activity organisers at one of the British Science Association’s NSEW Info Sessions and find out how your organisation can take part in the Week. These popular
informal workshops feature talks and discussion about organising NSEW events and activities, and are your chance to meet members of the NSEW Team and gain inspiration from past events.
Come along to find out about:
- Funding – details of our current national and regional schemes
- Hands-on activity packs for young people
- Details of the 2012 theme and associated national activities
- Free resources for organisers
- Additional NSEW projects you can take part in
- Case-study from an existing NSEW event organiser.
Taking part in NSEW can prove beneficial to many organisations in terms of audience development and generating local media coverage, and it is a great time to plan your school’s science
activity week. The British Science Association provides a range of support and resources to help take some of the work out of organising NSEW events and activities.
