Hi - yes you can use fslmaths to achieve the demeaning.  However I'm not sure what you mean by "doing the autocorrelation"; indeed, I would not have thought that DCM would want you to mess with that before feeding the data into it?

Cheers.

Hello list,

We have a question on preprocessing fMRI data. We plan to do DCM analysis in SPM, and need to do preprocess before that. From FSL forum, we learned we can use filtered_func_data or res4d in stats folder, which has been temporally high-pass filtered, motion corrected, nuisance regressor removed. However, we still need to demean the data and finish autocorrelation. From some previous list, it seems we can use fslmaths -Tmean to do demean and film_gls to do autocorrelation, right? Can you give us more details about the commands? I need some positive response to confirm the last two steps for my preprocess.

Thanks,
