Hi all,

 

At the moment I am putting together some disability awareness training for Academic Staff here at Swansea University.  What I want to achieve is a basic outline of the type of diability, how it would affect students in their learning process, and to suggest some “reasonable adjustments” that academics could make to maximise the learning of that particular student, and potentially all students.

 

I realise that each disability is different, and that it will be on a case by case basis, but I thought it would be nice to get some general suggestions together as a starting point.

 

Does anyone have a list, or bank of reasonable adjustments that would be used for students with a particular disability that they would be willing to share?  Or can anyone point me in the right direction?
