Special Collections, University of Aberdeen: temporary closure notice

Monday 26th September - Tuesday 1st November 2011
_________________________________________________

Special Collections is moving to the new University of Aberdeen Library during October 2011. Our staff will be working together with the specialist removal team to ensure the move is carried out speedily and securely. As a result, the Reading Room at King's College will close at 4.30pm on Friday 23rd September, and we will re-open in the new Reading Room in the Library on Tuesday 1st November.

What services will be available during this time?

* Consulting materials: The Reading Room at King's will be open for consultation of materials until 4.30pm, Friday 23rd September

* Research and enquiry services: we will make efforts to answer enquiries received by Friday 16th September. Thereafter, enquiry services - received both in person and by email - will be suspended temporarily until after our move.

* Research copying services: these will also be suspended from Friday 16th September and will likewise be resumed when we have moved into the new Library.

Thank you, we look forward to seeing you in the new Library.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any queries or for further information on our move:
