An inspiring global, leading, research-based pharmaceutical and healthcare organisation is currently recruiting for a Manager of Biostatistics. This position serves as an account manager to one/two assigned sub categories within the main team. This position closely collaborates on design of clinical programs and clinical studies along with many other functions such as medical operations medical affairs, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, new product research on design of clinical programs and clinical studies. This is a stand alone senior position for an experienced Biostatistician to shine.

The successful candidate will assume primary responsibility for the following tasks.
•Liaison to sub-category, advice to sub-category on statistical issues such as project plans, study design, sample size calculations; 
•Statistical component of study protocols;
•Statistical analysis plan;
•Collaboration with statistical programmers in order to establish strategy and deliver statistical results for clinical studies;
•Validation of statistical output in SAS;
•Statistical component of study reports;
•Planning, analysis and reporting for regulatory submissions, in particular integrated summaries.

Essential candidate requirements
•BSc in Statistics;
•Demonstrates statistical expertise in clinical trials;
•Demonstrates substantial experience in a related industry (Pharma/CEO) with demonstrable; experience in a scientific leadership position and/or line management;
•Experience in interactions with regulatory bodies, in particular the FDA;
•Excellent influencing skills, which are applied effectively at all levels of the organisation and across functional boundaries;
•Ability to work in a team;
•Excellent project management skills with the ability to simultaneously organise and manage a complex variety of projects, people and tasks.
•Self-motivated, independent worker;
•Deep Scientific understanding of clinical research arena, able to provide advice on due diligence and feasibility assessments for new opportunities;
•Prior experience working on dental clinical studies;
