The half-life of Digibind is 16-20h.

The product information leaflet says:

Digibind will interfere with digitalis immunoassay measurements. Thus, the standard serum digoxin concentration measurement can be clinically misleading until the Fab fragment is eliminated from the body, which may require several days.

So, yes - there is still the potential for interference at 24h.

Can anyone advise me how long Digibind hangs around and interferes in digoxin immunoassays?

I have a patient who was administered Digibind 24h before a sample was taken for measurement of digoxin.  I'm afraid I don't know what dose.  Will the digoxin result still be affected?

Many thanks for your help
