I want to do statistics with both flip and non-flipped images.

I have flip the images in both fsl and spm.

But I get the following error message when I try to run the analysis (both when I try to use flipped images from fsl or from spm):

"Error running job: Error using ==> spm_check_orientations

The orientation etc must be identical for this procedure"

 

 

Can I correct this error without using reslice on the flipped images?

 

And if I have to use reslice, can someone explain what actually happens to the images that I use reslice on?
