I think spatial transformation into a
common coordinate space (MNI) is not proper anymore when the subjects are
elderly people and their brain is very different from the standard template
applied in SPM8. So, I want to carry out first level statistical analyses in
native space. Then I want to do ROI analysis based on individual T-maps derived
from the 1st-level analysis.
So, the question is how to define the
anatomical regions of interests (ROIs) on each subject's T1 anatomical image?
Hope someone who had done similar data analysis experience could give me
some advice. I know a toolbox called "AutoSeg", but it is based on C++ and runs
under the GUI of FLTK. Is there any auto segmentation, pacellation and
labelling toolbox that works under MATLAB and SPM?
Thanks a lot!
