Apologies for cross-posting
The aim of the ceLTIc project is to explore how e-learning applications
can be more tightly integrated with virtual learning environments
through the use of the IMS Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI)
specification. A range of popular open source and commercial e-learning
applications (Elgg, WebPA, PebblePad and Learning Objects) are being
used to identify priorities for integrations with VLEs/LMSs. As part of
this study, we are investigating the potential benefits of this approach
from the perspective of: tutor, developer; e-learning support and
VLE./LMS administrator.
As part of this investigation, please could you complete a short online
questionnaire at:
https://surveys.qmu.ac.uk/celticspring2011
The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
The data gathered will help inform the implementation of LTI to provide:
*	a more seamless user experience when using e-learning
applications which are not part of the VLE/LMS;
*	administrative efficiencies from deploying and supporting new
e-learning applications (independent of the VLE being used);
*	more effective use of e-learning applications by both teachers
and learners arising from the integration of data sources such as
enrolments, marks and notifications;
*	more examples and case studies which will inform decision-making
about VLEs/LMSs.

Many thanks for your support for this work.
