BACKGROUND:

 

Now that cloud computing and open source have been around for a while, are they really providing the solutions to the old problems of retention, retrieval, dealing with legacy data, security and the rest?  How is SharePoint facing up to open source challengers? How are we coping with the data explosion?  Are we any better at handling email storage?

 

Some key issues addressed include:
