JOB OPPORTUNITY

Documentation Assistant, 60% FTE for 10 months
Salary Grade 5 £22,067 - £25,131 including London Allowance of £2,806

Grant Museum of Zoology, UCL Museums & Collections, University College London

We are seeking an enthusiastic Documentation Assistant to identify,
catalogue, re-house and inventory specimens in the Grant Museum’s stores
which were evacuated and then returned following floods last year. They
will unpack and match specimens against existing catalogue records and
organise the safe storage within the storerooms.

Applicants should hold a relevant degree (e.g. zoology/biology) and have
working knowledge of animal taxonomy. Experience of documenting natural
history collections is essential.
