Search Filter Performance - Questionnaire Survey The UK Cochrane Centre, York Health Economics Consortium, NHS Quality Improvement Scotland and the University of Aberdeen have been awarded Medical Research Council funding, under the MRC-NIHR Methodology Research Programme to underpin NICE decision-making, to investigate methodological search filters (also known as clinical queries or search hedges). The aim of the project is to investigate the methods used to assess the performance of all types of search filters (methodological and other), to explore what searchers require of search filters during the life of various types of projects and what information searchers value to help them to choose a search filter. We will also explore systems and approaches to provide better access to relevant and useful performance data on methodological search filters including developing guidance on reliable and efficient approaches to search filter performance measurement. This work will lead to guidance on reliable and efficient approaches to search filter performance measurement.
