[mailto:[log in to unmask]] Dear colleagues I am delighted to inform
you that a new area on the LSIS Excellence Gateway, dedicated to sustainable
development, is now live. It includes: ·
detailed, practical case studies (and a wealth
of resources to use and adapt) from the 18 Stepping Up in Sustainability and
nine Cut the Carbon sector-led projects, supported by LSIS ·
the Sustaining Our Future Framework, which seeks
to define and frame the landscape of sustainable development ·
the Reaching Forward Index, which providers can
use to map their current policy, practice and performance in sustainability and
plan for further development. More content will be added to the site in due course,
including case studies from nine FE-HE Carbon Reduction Partnership projects
which are almost complete. You and your colleagues can find all of these resources at: www.excellencegateway.org.uk/sustainability Please feel free to publicise this area through your
networks and organisations. Comments and suggestions for additions and developments to
the site are welcome. Best wishes Conrad
