Hi all,

 

We've become aware that we are in need of a support worker role to
encompass varied aspects of support for students who require someone
with them for large portions of time when they are on campus. I am
thinking that this role may be called something like 'Specialist
Personal Assistant' or 'Specialist Support Worker' (although that is my
own misleading job title) and will include a number of different roles,
such as library assistant, personal assistant, note taker, as well as
more specific tasks relevant to the student concerned, such as perhaps
setting up and operating assistive software, filing notes and sending
emails and assisting with getting food. Does anyone else have a role
such as this, and if so is anyone willing to share a job
description/person specification/charges and pay rates with me?
