The Seminar will look back over the history of sociological engagement with psychoanalysis and the terrain of “the psychosocial”, and forward, through the presentation of a series of “manifestos for the field”. The programme will be structured to maximize time for discussion, and there will be a “large group” free floating discussion during the afternoon. The day will end with celebratory drinks to launch the Study Group.
