You are invited to the Inaugural Seminar of the new BSA “Sociology,
Psychoanalysis and the Psychosocial” Study Group.

 

 The Seminar will look back over the history of sociological engagement with
psychoanalysis and the terrain of “the psychosocial”, and forward, through
the presentation of a series of “manifestos for the field”. 

 

The programme will be structured to maximize time for discussion, and there
will be a “large group” free floating discussion during the afternoon. The
day will end with celebratory drinks to launch the Study Group.
