PROJECT OFFICER – Forty Years On
Salary £24-25k (+ relocation)
Fixed-term contract October 2011 – March 2014

Forty Years On is a Heritage Lottery funded project between Eastern Angles and Peterborough’s Cultural Trust, Vivacity to archive, explore and dramatise the life of the city’s Development Corporation and its effect on two generations of new arrivers.

Drawing on expertise within both organisations, you will lead this project combining archives, oral history and theatre to tell the modern history of Peterborough. You will train and manage volunteers to collect oral histories, create web, publication and evaluation material and be the lynchpin of this exciting project.

You will be employed by Eastern Angles and managed by Vivacity's Archivist, and will be based within the Archives Service in Peterborough Central Library.
