Our client is a world leader in IT, and business solutions. Their consultancy analytics division is now a core aspect of their business for strategic analytical and modelling services and our client has made an investment of £8 billion to support the analytics division. As a result they have now opened 6 analytics offices across the world, which is a network of linked facilities serving major metro areas as a hub for consulting, software and research practitioners.

The company focuses on applying its capability within focused sectors: Strategic Analysis; Performance Analysis; Finance Analysis; Pricing Analysis; Client Analysis and Logistical Analysis.

Our client is looking for 5 Analytical Consultants with 2 to 4 years relevant experience.

The role will involve building very complex models in Excel 

This will involve working on client sites in teams of 1 -200 on projects of up to 6 months. Eighty percent of the work is based in the South East and the clients are blue chip organisations in industries such as oil, energy, finance, insurance, retail, defence and government organisations. The projects the consultants take on are complex business issues involving strategic analysis, operational research and delivery. The consultants will be involved in the strategic analysis and direction of their clients and not the implementation.

The training is excellent and covers all industry sectors, being responsible for supporting clients.

Requirements:

- A 2.1 first degree, in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Economics
- PhD or MSc is a plus 
- Maths A level grade A
- Experience in modelling, strategic analysis or operational research
- Very advanced Excel or Access experience
