Dear colleagues, Here at the University of Wolverhampton we are about to undergo an internal audit of organisational equality and diversity arrangements. The audit has been commissioned by the University's internal audit committee, which engages an external company specialising in risk management, financial management and business advisory services etc to carry out audits of a variety of university functions. Although the company does not specialise in equality and diversity matters I understand that the particular auditor engaged to undertake our review has knowledge and expertise in this area. Has anyone else been subject to an audit of this nature? If so I would be extremely grateful to hear of your experiences, either on or off list. In any case I will be happy to share our experiences once the audit is concluded if colleagues are interested. The auditors are due to visit in August. Best wishes, Cindy Cindy Williams-Findlay Equality and Diversity Manager University of Wolverhampton ML Building Molineux Street Wolverhampton WV1 1DT Tel: +44 (0)1902 32 1182 E-mail: [log in to unmask] www.wlv.ac.uk/edu The contents of this email are sent in confidence for the use of the intended recipient only.
