Dear Colleague,

 

One of our Paediatric Endocrinologists has enquired about the feasibility of getting specific steroidogenic antibodies analysed – steroid-producing cells antibodies (StCA), 17 alpha-hydroxylase autoantibodies and P450 side chain cleavage enzyme autoantibodies – as these may be of value as markers in patients with autoimmune disease in the development of premature ovarian failure.  Does anyone offer these antibody tests or know of a lab that does?  We could find nothing on assay finder and wonder if they are still at the research stage.
