Hi
SPM-users,
Thanks
for the quick reaction! I have been a bit incomplete in my previous add. I’m
analyzing fMRI data of absence epilepsy patients. These patients do have
seizures (measured with EEG) which are actually my events in the analysis. So
you were absolutely right that I was not very clear and didn’t use the
definitions of resting state strictly.
@
Isabelle: I’m going to do ICA
on the resting state data. But in order to validate the components that are
related to the epilepsy, I need to do an analysis with a GLM as well since the epileptic
seizures form the input of that model. So the activated brain regions that I
will find from the GLM analysis are related to the epilepsy. By looking at
overlapping segments I hope to find ‘an epileptic network’ from the
ICA. And in the
end I may even use ICA fingerprints to qualify the components of the ICA
without measuring EEG-fMRI and without using GLM.
Cheers,
Debby
