Dear all,

May I encourage you please to put forward your nominations in these awards,
and try to think of women who would make good nominees. Every year we try
to ensure that some women are nominated, although the awards still tend to
be male-dominated, so no room for complacency! If anyone has a good list of
suggestions to share with others, please send them to me and I will collate
and forward them.

Best wishes
Rainbow

 Dear Colleague

I am writing to invite you to submit your nominations for the PSA’s 2011
Awards.

The PSA Awards represent an opportunity for the Association to recognise the
achievements of those people and organisations that have had the most
significant impact or made the most impressive contributions to our
political life. It is important to bear in mind that in conferring an award
the PSA is in no way supporting or opposing a particular person, policy or
viewpoint but merely acknowledging an influence or “achievement”.

Nominations are invited for the categories listed in the tables below. The
deadline for nominations is Friday, 24th June.

Nominations should be sent to Charlie Jeffery, Acting Chair of the Awards
Committee at [log in to unmask] (NOT to [log in to unmask] please).
Colleagues who have difficulties with the tables below may download copies
from the PSA website here [Word]<http://www.psa.ac.uk/members/Awards2011.doc>
[pdf] <http://www.psa.ac.uk/members/Awards2011.pdf>. You will find a
complete list of all previous Award winners on the PSA website if you click

Best wishes
