Though I've been witnessing many more documentary films than ever before and occasionally quarrying cine-poems out of the experience, I can't say I've ever described those texts as documentary poetry.  Charles Reznikoff's work came to mine when I encountered that designation this Saturday.  I might read the following elaborations (sorted out from a google search):
