Hello - Oxford Brookes claim they were first with the degree, but I don't know how accurate that is.
Best wishes

Hi Billie,

Didn't Julie Kent, who I believe is at Bristol in dept. of Sociology, do her PhD on the changes in midwifery education.  Have you tried contacting her?

Warm wishes

Subject: UK graduate midwifery query

Dear UK list members

I’m trying to identify the date that the first UK undergraduate midwifery degree commenced and at which university, for a history paper I’m writing

Can anyone help?

Many thanks
Billie
