The 33rd Annual General Meeting and Members' Afternoon will be held at the British Dental Association, 64 Wimpole Street, London W1G 8YS on Thursday, 1st September 2011. The programme, to be chaired by Martin White, follows: 13.30 Coffee and Registration 14.00 UKeiG AGM Members' Forum An informal discussion on UKeiG and your future training needs. The Hargreaves Review: Will we get a copyright law that is at last fit for purpose? Professor Charles Oppenheim Charles will briefly describe the history of the Hargreaves Review before explaining how it went about its business and will critically evaluate what its report recommends. The talk will then cover how the Government has responded to the recommendations, and what is likely to happen to UK copyright law in the near future. 16.00 Close The AGM and members' afternoon is free of charge but registration is essential as places are limited.
