Apologies from Scotland.
We deliver Festival of Museums on the same weekend as Museums at Night and encourage museums to do something different with their collections during hours and outwith regular hours.
Next year we are looking to have it the same weekend at Museums at Night which I believe will be 18-20th May 2012.

Hello all,
A while back I asked about annual events that we all get involved with and promised to circulate a list. Many thanks to everyone who got in touch with contributions. One of our volunteers has kindly collated them and the list is attached. No Scottish events are included - apologies for this.
Do shout if I’ve missed anything obvious/important!
Cheers,
Rosie

Subject: Annual events
Hello all,
I'm putting together a list of national events that museums and heritage sites join in with every year. I'm think of things like museums at night, the big draw, festival of archaeology etc etc. anyone want to chip in with suggestions? I'll add them to the list and circulate.
Or, if such a list exists already somewhere on the interweb, there's a prize for the first person to send me the link!
Either way, I will share, of course.
Best wishes,
Rosie
