Working with Teenagers: a practical session on the needs and expectations of young people costs just £145 and you'll learn all the essential information you need to recognise the needs of teenagers and young people, and tailor your service to meet them. The session includes practical and interactive sessions which:
o Develop understanding of young people, their needs and expectations
o Increase awareness of the strengths and weaknesses of current provision
o Highlight current national policies and their implications for effective implementation on the ground
o Provide inspiration for meeting needs supportively and encouraging take up of activities and services
o Enable confidence to grow when working with teenagers
There is a lot to digest. But spending the 27 June with Anne Harding, Creating Capacity's specialist in effective provision for children and young people in a cultural heritage setting will set you on the right track for long-term and effective relationships with teenagers and young people.
