I realize this is an old post and probably a simple answer but I am trying to convert the t-stat map to an r value but after reading this post I am unsure if my formula is correct. I ran a correlation with three covariates and 56 subjects. Prior to reading this post I have been converting my t-stats with fslmath but I have been calculating my DF as 56 - 2 = 54. I was a little confused after reading this post and I wanted to verify that my calculations were correct. Full transform below fslmaths tstat -mul tstat numerator fslmaths numerator -add 54 denominator fslmaths numerator -div denominator -sqrt rstat
