Yet still the failure to recognise that this number is entirely contingent
upon what one means by "disability" as this still bears scant relation to
any reality concerning the different impact of any impairment according to
different social conditions, norms, and economics. You would think the UN
would recognise that wouldn't you?. But Oh NO! They are not a research
organisation, they are not even a rational organisation, no they are a bunch
of power brokers driven predominantly by a westernised elite, if ever there
were a land where the pigs walk on two legs, the UN Eutrophia is it.

> More than one billion people worldwide experience some form of disability,
> the United Nations and the World Bank said today in a report that calls
for

to
> "the margins of society."
>
> The http://www.who.int/disabilities/world_report/2011/en/index.html World

>
> "Disability is part of the human condition," said WHO Director-General
> Margaret Chan at a ceremony in UN headquarters to launch the report.
"Almost

>
> "We must do more to break the barriers which segregate people with

>
> The barriers mentioned in the report include: stigma and discrimination; a
> lack of adequate health care and rehabilitation services; and inaccessible
> transport, buildings and information and communication technologies.
>
> "As a result, people with disabilities experience poorer health, lower

>
> The report recommended that governments and their development partners

> In addition, governments "should work to increase public awareness and

> Nearly 150 countries and regional organizations have signed the Convention
