What sent shivers down my back, reading the report, was that the ICO investigators were on site the day one of the breaches occurred.  The first one was so serious the ICO sends people there immediately and then while they are visiting the next breach occurs.

Thing is in the case of Herts CC they don't seem to even have applied some common sense and made the same mistakes they had previously been warned about.

 

Like I said the best technology in the world can't combat the human element!!!

Method was not what I was drawing attention to Lee, sorry if I did not make that clear, what I was referring to was the lack of appropriate measures taken to handle the impact level of the data (irrelevant of how you send it).
