Funding available for places on MSc Statistics School of Mathematics, University of Manchester As a consequence of receiving some limited financial support from the EPSRC, we are pleased to invite applications for places on our one year MSc Statistics course, starting in September 2011, that will specifically be funded as follows: 1) Two places for UK/EU students who will have their fees paid. 2) Two additional places for home (UK) students who will have their fees paid AND ALSO receive a stipend (maintenance allowance) of £12500. Applicants should have a first class degree in Mathematics (or in a subject with some significant mathematical content) from a UK University, or the equivalent from an overseas University. Students should also have some basic knowledge of probability and statistics in their degree. (Please note that if you have already applied for a place on this MSc then you will be automatically considered for one of these awards.)
