Apologies for cross-posting. ****************** The Department of Information Systems and Decision Sciences at ESSEC Business School invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Econometrics and Mathematical Statistics. ESSEC is a leading European business school (a French “Grande Ecole”), with two campuses, one in the Paris metropolitan area and another in Singapore. It offers mostly graduate level training in business administration (MSc, MBA, EMBA, Specialized Masters, PhD). Details about ESSEC and the Department can be found at www.essec.edu and http://isds-department.essec.edu/ To be considered, candidates should hold a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Mathematical Statistics or in Econometric Theory, and show evidence of excellence both in research and in teaching. Candidates whose research relates to Econometrics or Financial Risk Analysis will be particularly appreciated. Support to research is key to ESSEC policy and faculty members enjoy a very favorable environment. Salaries are competitive at a European level. Rank of appointment and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Candidates will have the opportunity to teach econometrics, time series or statistics at all levels.
