Lectureship in Statistics (2-year fixed term)


The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Durham University (UK)
has a vacancy for a Lecturer in Statistics. The position is for two
years (fixed term).
The closing date for applications is 17 July 2011.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated a capacity for excellent
research
in Statistics. Preference may be given to candidates who are interested
to work in
areas related to current activities in the group.

He or she will be expected to make a substantial commitment to the
research activities
of the Statistics Group, and to undertake teaching and administrative
duties as assigned
by the Board of Studies of Mathematical Sciences.
